The roof is held in place by a wire wrapped around screws on the side pieces.

These boxes measure approximately 14.5cm (W), 21cm (D) and 21cm ​(H).

Please note that inspecting boxes for dormice requires a licence when sited in known dormice areas. If boxes are sited to determine whether dormice are present, a licence is needed once the first dormouse has been found.
